A Pennsylvania man working as a camp counselor in Hunterdon County was charged for sexually assaulting three campers, authorities said. Joshua F. Daranijo, 24, of Levittown, was charged with three counts each of sexual assault by contact and child endangerment, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. One person was being flown to a nearby hospital after a car flipped and landed into a patch of woods in Hunterdon County Tuesday afternoon, developing reports say. The crash occurred on Route 513 near Windy Heights Road in Lebanon Township shortly before 2:55 p.m., the Lebanon Township Police Department confirmed. The vehicle rolled over and landed in the woods, trapping at least one occupant, according to initial reports. Two dogs were rescued from a Hunterdon County home that went up in flames over the weekend, authorities said. The Hampton Fire Co. Station 13 responded to a burning home in Lebanon Township and found two dogs trapped shortly before 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, the department said. Firefighters worked to clear the home of smoke while dousing the blaze, which was reported by a vigilant passerby, the department said. Lifelong Hunterdon County resident and animal rescue volunteer Wayne Allyn Davidson died in a car crash on Friday, March 18. He was 43. Born in Hackettstown, Davidson lived in Lebanon Township his entire life, his obituary says. Davidson graduated from Voorhees High School in 1997 and worked at Jordan Tree Service in Lebanon Township, according to his memorial.
