Journalist Josh Kruger Knew His Suspected Killer, Philadelphia Police Say Philadelphia police have obtained an arrest warrant for a suspect in the killing of journalist and activist Josh Kruger.  Robert Davis, 19, is wanted for murder and related offenses, PPD Lieutenant Hamilton Marshmond said during a press conference on Friday, Oct. 6. Josh Kruger, 39, was shot seven times in his home on the 2300 block of Watkins Street around 1:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 2, in the Grays Ferry section of the city, police said.
