AG: NJ Police Officer Busted For Child Porn
A Lawrence Township police officer was busted on child porn charges, authorities announced Thursday. Officer Shane Hickey, 29, who lives in the Mercer County town where he works, was issued a summons charging him with possession of child sexual abuse materials, Acting New Jersey Attorney General Andrew J. Bruck said. State Police charged Hickey with emailing himself 45 child porn files on a cellphone following an investigation by the NJSP Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit. Hickey has been suspended from the department pending the outcome of the case, Bruck said.

South Jersey Man Tried Luring Detective Posing As Teenage Girl Online, Prosecutor Says
A 26-year-old man from South Jersey has been arrested for trying to lure and kidnapping a teenage girl who was actually an undercover detective online, authorities said. Francis Frobose, 26, of Hamilton, was charged with second-degree attempted kidnapping, second-degree attempted luring, second-degree attempted sexual assault and third-degree attempted endangering the welfare of a child, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Prosecutor: Central Jersey Middle School Science Teacher Solicited Sex From Underage Boys
A 65-year-old science teacher at Long Branch Middle School was arrested on Tuesday in connection with soliciting sex online from boys, authorities said. Jesse Rosenbaum of Manalapan was taken into custody during a motor vehicle stop near his home by detectives with the prosecutor’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit and Special Victims Unit, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J.
