PA Star Student-Athlete Dies In Crash On US Rt. 22
Tonee Ellis a star wrestler at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, died following a car crash on Tuesday, Aug. 1, state police said.
Troopers believe the Norristown native was driving west on US Route 22 in Perr County when his car left the roadway and hit a tree, catching fire.
The 22-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a state police report.
Born in 2001, Ellis was a graduate of Methacton High School in Worcester Township, where he launched his athletic career, loved ones said.

Reading HS Grad, Mom Of One Rajneesha Preston Dies At 30
Reading High School graduate Rajneesha Preston died on July 25 at the age of 30.
Preston, a mother to her three-year-old son Emerson, "loved to learn, sing, and lift up others," according to GoFundMe organizer Jen Dinatally.
Born in Memphis, TN, she worked in real estate and was committed to helping families/individuals find their “forever home," her obituary says.
She also attended Reading Area Community College and Indiana University of Pennsylvania, according to her obituary.
Over $4,600 had been raised on a GoFundMe as of Oct. 6.
