Storm System With 'Three-Prong Effect' Tracks Along East Coast
The East Coast is off to a wet and rainy October.
A new storm system caused in part by Hurricane Ian continues to track along the East Coast, making for coastal flooding and even more rain, meteorologists say.
The storm will have a "three-prong effect" including wind, enhanced rain, and flooding, AccuWeather says. Coastal and bayside communities such as Wildwood, NJ and Norfolk, VA could see between one and three feet of flooding, the outlet reports.

NJ Man Wanted For Killing Victim, Dumping Body On PA Highway: Report
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a New Jersey man wanted for killing another Garden State resident and dumping his body along a Pennsylvania highway, PennLive reports.
Robert Christie, 36, of Trenton, was charged Friday, Aug. 12 with criminal homicide, abuse of a corpse, and tampering with evidence, among other offenses, in the shooting death of Joshua McRae, 31, also of Trenton, the outlet says citing the Philadelphia Inquirer.
McRae’s body was found on the shoulder of I-295 near the I-95 interchange in Bristol Township on Jan. 19, 2020.

Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Hit-Run Crash On I-95, Pickup Truck Sought: Police
A pedestrian was killed on I-95 on Saturday, July 23, according to police, who are looking for a pickup truck that fled the scene.
The 44-year-old victim was on the northbound shoulder near mile marker 2.4 in Upper Chichester Township when a blue Ford F-150 struck him, a motorcycle, and another truck, and kept going around 9:10 p.m., Pennsylvania State Police said.
The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The damaged Ford fled the scene onto Exit three, police said.

High winds, high temperatures, thunderstorms, and flooding are all in the forecast across Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and District of Columbia for Wednesday, June 22, according to the National Weather Service.
