Philly Driver Killed By 'Metal Debris' On I-95, Troopers Say
A woman is dead after being struck by a piece of "metal debris" as she drove down I-95 in Philadelphia on Monday, June 12, authorities say. It happened around 4:40 p.m. near the Columbus Boulevard exit, state police wrote in a release. The debris crashed through the windshield of a Subaru Impreza and hit 33-year-old driver Caramia Panichelli, "causing fatal injuries," troopers said. Condolences were pouring in for 18-year-old Anthony Allegrini Jr., who was shot and killed by police during a car meetup on I-95 early Sunday, June 4. Two people are dead following an early morning crash on I-95 in Philadelphia, state police say. Troopers were called to the northbound lanes of mile 25 near the Allegheny Avenue exit just before 1 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4 for a reported three-vehicle accident, authorities told Daily Voice. State police are investigating a deadly shooting on I-95 in Philadelphia, according to a report by 6ABC. Troopers were dispatched to the northbound lane of I-95 near Academy Road in the city's Torresdale neighborhood at around 9 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1, the outlet wrote. A man was conscious and alert after jumping 30 feet off I-95 into a creek below following a five-car crash early Saturday, Nov. 26 in Bucks County, Levittown Now reports. A fire truck responding to a serious accident on I-95 in Bucks County was hit by a passing car, authorities said. NJ Man Wanted For Killing Victim, Dumping Body On PA Highway: Report
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a New Jersey man wanted for killing another Garden State resident and dumping his body along a Pennsylvania highway, PennLive reports. Robert Christie, 36, of Trenton, was charged Friday, Aug. 12 with criminal homicide, abuse of a corpse, and tampering with evidence, among other offenses, in the shooting death of Joshua McRae, 31, also of Trenton, the outlet says citing the Philadelphia Inquirer.
