I-95 Gunman Arrested Four Years After Shooting: State Police
The suspected gunman in a 2019 shooting on Interstate 95 is in police custody, authorities announced.
Twenty-year-old Samuel Irizarry was arrested by state police early Friday, Nov. 3, troopers said in a release.
Irizarry is thought to have been riding in a dark-colored Chevrolet sedan that was involved in a Feb. 20, 2019 shooting on Mile 22 of the highway in Philadelphia, near the Benjamin Franklin bridge, according to police.

Temple Students Robbed At Gunpoint Steps From Campus, Authorities Say
Two students were robbed at gunpoint just steps away from the Temple University campus before sunrise on Tuesday, Oct. 31, according to authorities.
The stick-ups happened near the corner of North 16th Street and Berks streets around 6 a.m., PPD said.
The first victim, 21, was robbed of his phone but later found it nearby using a tracking app, said police. The second victim, also 21, was pistol-whipped before having his wallet and phone stolen, they added.
The suspect is described as a 6-foot-tall black man in his mid-20s wearing a dark sweatshirt and a mask.

11-Year-Old Girl On Playground Shot, No Suspect, Philadelphia Police Say
An 11-year-old girl was shot in her abdomen while at a playground in Philadelphia, authorities say.
The girl was shot in the 3600 block of North 11th Street near Erie Avenue at 6:57 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11, Philadelphia Police told Daily Voice.
The 11-year-old was hit in the right abdomen and taken by her family to Temple Hospital, the police explained. After she was stabilized, she was transferred to St. Christopher Hospital.
No suspects have been identified, no arrests have been made, and no weapons were recovered, the police said.
