2 Reading Men Hospitalized In Shooting, Say Police
Two men were shot on a Reading street late on Saturday, Oct. 29, according to police.
The victims, aged 22 and 28, were standing at the intersection of 8th Street and Penn Street at around 8:30 p.m. when a third unidentified man approached them and opened fire "after a brief exchange," authorities said.
One victim was rushed to the hospital with gunshot wounds to his abdomen, torso, and legs, police said.
The other was treated for a wound to the left hip, they added.

A pair of Philadelphia men were charged in connection with a series of gunpoint carjackings and armed robberies that occurred earlier this year throughout Delaware County, authorities said.
Nile Ward, 19, and Jamir Hill, 27, were arrested after a Monday, May 23 raid of Ward's home, which turned up five firearms, stolen clothing from one of the robberies, a black jacket worn by the men in surveillance footage and on social media, crack cocaine, marijuana, and more, Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer said.

Two people who fired shots inside and out of a Bethlehem bar were in police custody as of Saturday, April 9, authorities announced.
Brian, 36, and Judith Saffarally, 35, both of N. 2nd Street in Lehighton, discharged the weapon around 11 p.m. at Big Woodys during a fight on Easton Avenue, Bethlehem police said.

One of two gunmen pleaded guilty Wednesday to attempted murder for his role in a 2019 shooting at a park in Bucks County, authorities said.
Taariq A. A man who robbed three adults at gun point, has been arrested in Parkesburg Borough, say area police.
Omere Nayshon Peoples, 19 of Gap, reportedly approached three people in the 700 block of South Alley with a gun visible and demanded all the contents of their pockets on Tuesday afternoon.
Peoples fled on foot, but one of his victims recognized and identified him by name to local police.
