Tractor-Trailer Crashes Into PA Turnpike Toll Booth, Driver Injured
A tractor-trailer crashed into a toll booth on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, causing significant damage and closing part of the highway, officials said.
The crash happened on Interstate 376 at the Chippewa Interchange in Chippewa Township just before 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19, according to the Chippewa Township Volunteer Fire Department.
Firefighters from Station 22 responded with an engine, rescue truck, and ladder truck to address the scene, which included extensive damage to both the tractor-trailer and the toll booth, as well as a large fuel spill.

1,000 Bethlehem Residents Evacuated By Fuel Spill
A truck that crashed and spilled nearly 6,000 gallons of fuel oil evacuated about 1,000 Bethlehem residents early Thursday, Nov. 17, as first reported by WFMZ.
The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. at West Union Boulevard and Paul Avenue. Nearly 400 homes within a 1,000-meter radius were evacuated, the outlet said.

South Jersey Truck Driver Charged In 4,000 Gallon Pennsylvania Fuel Spill
A South Jersey truck driver was charged after 4,000 gallons of fuel spilled in Delaware County last month, authorities said.
Smith, 36, of Vineland, NJ has been charged with causing and risking a catastrophe, Clean Streams Law violations, and related offenses in connection with the June 11 fuel spill at the Gas N Go in Brookhaven.
