Kidnapping: Abducted Fort Lee Man Rescued By Nypd, Feds Seize Trio In $680,000 Ransom Demand
Federal authorities have charged three New York City men with kidnapping a Fort Lee resident and holding him for ransom.
A judge ordered Albert Ferrelli, 50, and Chiahao Lee, 30, both of Queens, and Fa Deng, 42, of Staten Island detained following a brief hearing in U.S. District Court in Newark on Thursday, April 7.
The kidnapper sent the victim’s wife a photograph showing the victim with his hands bound and his eyes and mouth duct-taped while demanding $680,000 following the Tuesday night abduction, U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Philip R. Sellinger said.

Man Grabs Paramedic By Throat After Refusing To Put On Mask At Jefferson Bucks Hospital: Police
A man assaulted a paramedic who asked him to put on a mask at a hospital in Bucks County, authorities said.
Jeffrey Choi, 42, is accused of grabbing the paramedic by their throat after refusing to put on a mask at Jefferson Bucks Hospital in Langhorne on Monday, Feb. 21, Fall Township police said.
Another medic and hospital staff had to secure him before police arrived, they said.
Choi, of Fort Lee, NJ, was arraigned on charges of aggravated assault and disorderly conduct, records show.

A Paramus woman who’d threatened to kill a former lover broke into his Fort Lee condo with her new boyfriend and stabbed the man's dog, authorities said.
The owner told police he fled the Cumbermeade Road condominium after the couple called and threatened to shoot him just after midnight Tuesday, Capt. Edward Young said.
