With six months having passed since Moderna began clinical trials for its COVID-19 vaccine, the pharmaceutical company is seeking full approval from the Food and Drug Administration. The ratio of people who have suffered from blood clots after receiving the Moderna or Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is approximately the same as those who receive the AstraZeneca vaccine, according to a new study. Pfizer and BioNTech on Friday asked the Food and Drug Administration to expand emergency use authorization of the COVID-19 vaccine to include children ages 12 to 15.
