Upper Saucon Woman Killed In Crash Down Embankment: Lehigh County Coroner A 58-year-old woman was killed in a crash in Upper Milford Township over the weekend, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office announced on Monday, Nov. 25, 2024. Jane E. Zamichieli, of Upper Saucon Township, died at 10:39 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, according to the release. Zamichieli suffered multiple blunt force injuries when her vehicle left the roadway, went down an embankment, and ejected her, the coroner said. Troopers Seek Serial Wallet Thief In Lehigh County Pennsylvania State Police are looking for the suspect in a series of wallet thefts at Lower Macungie stores.  The pictured man is accused of taking the wallet from a Costco shopper's purse on Friday, Feb. 23. Oxygen User Smoking Cigarette Dies Of Burns Caused By Fire That Erupted: Lehigh Coroner A 57-year-old Lehigh County man died when he tried to light a cigarette while using supplemental oxygen, causing a fire that burned him, officials said. Richard C .Grim of Lower Macungie Township, was pronounced dead at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest around 3:40 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, the Lehigh County Coroner's Office said.  The cause of death was complications of 5.5% burns on his body due to trying to smoke a cigarette last week in his home, when a fire erupted, the coroner's office said.
