A retail theft ring operating in Philadelphia stole thousands of dollars of diapers, batteries, candy, and other goods, according to police.
Three men — Daquan Johnson, Lytrell Scott, and Byron Jordan-Prince — were arrested Sunday, July 14 on multiple counts related to the thefts, authorities said in a release Friday, July 26. A fourth suspect is expected to turn himself in on Monday, July 29.

A Delaware woman will spend at least five years in a Pennsylvania prison after admitting to defrauding two employers through a workers' compensation scam, authorities say.
Victoria Newell-Brown, 56, pleaded guilty to 10 felonies in October, said the Attorney General's Office in a release.

A 20-year-old man was arrested after shooting the ex-boyfriend of the mother of his child during a custody exchange outside of a Montgomery County Family Dollar over the weekend, authorities said.
Ali Ortiz, of Upper Pottsgrove Township, went inside of the Farmington Avenue store around 6:50 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, police said in a release. When he came out, he found 21-year-old Sabri Noel, of Philadelphia, arguing with the mother of his child, police said.
