Worker Stole Nearly $10K From Lehigh Valley Food Mart: Slate Belt PD
A 27-year-old woman is accused of stealing nearly $10,000 from a Lehigh Valley food store while working as an employee, authorities said. Julie Teresa Rose Smith stole a total of $9,514 while working at Penn Jersey Food Mart in Pen Argyl between Monday, Nov. 22 and Monday, Dec. 27 of 2021, Slate Belt Regional Police said. Officers received the theft report on Wednesday, Jan. 19 and obtained a warrant for Smith’s arrest the following day. PA Payroll Manager Stole $154K From Non-Profit That Aids Newly Released Inmates, DA Says
A payroll manager from Montgomery County stole more than $154,000 from her employer -- a non-profit organization that helps recently released inmates with reentry and other services, authorities said Thursday. Anglea Nadeau, 42, of Royersford, stole the funds from Upper Dublin Township-based organization "The Kintock Group" while employed under the name Angela Claussen, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. One of Pennsylvania's biggest road and bridge construction firms was charged with multiple counts of theft on accusations it stole more than $20 million from its employees, authorities announced.
