At Least 9 People Injured In 2 Turnpike Crashes In Lancaster County
Two crashes in Lancaster County along the have closed a.section of the Pennsylvania Turnpike and left between 9 and 15 people injured. The first crash was involving a single vehicle and a tractor-trailer in near mile marker 290 just before 1 p.m.-- no injuries were reported in that crash, according to Emergency Dispatch Services. The second crash in Brecknock Township, Wednesday afternoon was much more serious and was possibly caused by backed up traffic from the initial crash. : MontCo Child Who Fell From Window Sill Landed Inside Home
A child who fell from a window sill Monday evening landed on the floor of a home and did not fall outside, local police confirmed Tuesday. A previous version of this story said a baby fell from a second-story window according to Emergency Dispatch Services, however, Hatfield police chief William Tierney later confirmed there was no major fall involved. Crews responded to a Montgomery County home on reports of people having difficulty breathing due to an acid leak coming from a drug lab in the basement, officials said. Tow Truck Collides With SEPTA Bus In Lower Merion
A tow truck struck a SEPTA bus Wednesday afternoon in Lower Merion, dispatch officials told Daily Voice. The crash occurred around 1:50 p.m. on the 100 block of Coulter Avenue, Emergency Dispatch Services said.
