A child is dead and five other people — including four children — were hurt in a fire in Lebanon City on Friday morning Sept. 13, officials explained. A child under the age of five died at the scene of the fire in the 1300 block of Brandywine Street, officials said. Four other children were injured and an elderly woman was medically evacuated by helicopter from the scene to Hershey Medical Center. Driver Wanted For Hit-Run Crash In Northeast Philadelphia
Philadelphia police are searching for the hit-and-run driver who they say sent a 69-year-old pedestrian to the hospital on Sunday night, Nov. 26. It happened on the 11000 block of Knights Road around 8 p.m., PPD said. The driver of a dark SUV pulled out of a parking lot and hit a woman before fleeing the scene toward Red Lion Road, according to investigators. The victim was reportedly taken down the road to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital and placed in critical condition. Elderly Bucks Man Takes Terrifying Tumble Off Beltzville State Park Embankment: Report
A 75-year-old Bucks County man was rescued by emergency crews after he fell from an embankment at Beltzville State Park in Carbon County, according to a report from WFMZ. The man was walking toward a river's edge at around 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2 when his leg "gave out" and he lost his balance, the outlet reported. Police in Delaware County are seeking the public's help identifying a man accused of stealing an elderly woman's wallet from an Acme store in Media on Wednesday. The woman told police she left her purse in a shopping cart while at the East Baltimore Pike Acme location around 11:45 a.m., according to Nether Providence police. Two people who had been airlifted to a Philadelphia hospital with serious burns in last month's Bristol Township fire have died of their injuries, LevittownNow reports. An elderly man was confirmed dead on Jan. 29, and an elderly woman died this week, the outlet reports.
