A 71-year-old pedestrian was struck near on the 300 block of Larry Holmes Drive, near the intersection with Washington and South 4th streets, around 7:20 a.m., authorities said. UPDATE: A police officer was shot responding to a domestic incident that left a woman wounded and the gunman dead Saturday afternoon in Warren County, authorities confirmed. Warren County Prosecutor Jim Pfeiffer confirmed that the suspect had shot the woman and then opened fire on officers responding to the 1:15 p.m. April 8 incident just off Hanover Street in Phillipsburg. Man Stabbed Several Times During Fight In Lehigh Valley, Police Say
A 41-year-old was stabbed several times during a fight in Easton over the weekend, according to police who are seeking witnesses. Officers responding to the stabbing report on the 100 block of E. Wilkes Barre St. found the victim with multiple stab wounds just before 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16, Easton Police said in a press release. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital with serious injuries but is expected to survive, police said. Police are seeking information after a Monday night stabbing in Easton sent a man to the hospital. Officers responding to the stabbing report near the 600 block of Pearl Street found a wounded 18-year-old man just after 10:45 p.m., Easton Police said. Two people were killed and one injured in an overnight shooting at an Easton apartment complex, authorities said. Officers responded to a call of shots fired at the 600 building of the Canal Park Apartments shortly after 11:35 p.m. Tuesday and found a 63-year-old woman with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, Easton Police said.
