A man serving a life sentence following a murder conviction has had his conviction overturned, the Lebanon County District Attorney's Office announced on Thursday, Sept. 5. Eddie Williams, 50, of Lebanon, had been convicted of murder in the first degree, robbery, and numerous related offenses on Oct. 14, 2015, the DA explained. Thousands of dollars worth of heroin and fentanyl was seized along with bags of crack cocaine when police raided the home of an accused drug dealer in Berks County, authorities said. Eduardo Martinez, 43, was arrested following the warranted search of his Court Street home in Reading on Wednesday, Aug. 24, the Berks County District Attorney's Office said.
