Road Closure Alert: Almshouse Road Shut Down Due To Fallen Tree On Power Lines

Fallen Tree Pulls Powerlines Down Closing Road In Doylestown: Police
A roadway is closed to all traffic due to a downed tree involving multiple power lines, Doylestown police said. Pebble Hill Road is blocked to all traffic at its intersection with Turk Road at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 14, according to the Doylestown Township Police Department. Police suggest drivers find an alternate route. Approximately 108 PECO customers and 218 PPL Customers are without power in Bucks County, no estimates for when the power would come back on were available.

DA: Unlicensed Driver From Lansdale Charged In Deadly Doylestown Crash
A 24-year-old unlicensed driver was charged with homicide by vehicle and related charges for causing a deadly crash in Doylestown Tuesday, authorities said. Paul S. Foster, of Lansdale, is also facing charges of accidents involving death or personal injury while not properly licensed, involuntary manslaughter, recklessly endangering another person, driving on roadways laned for traffic, driving vehicles at unsafe speeds, and reckless driving, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.
