Detour Ahead: I-95 North In Center City To Close For Roadwork, PennDOT Says A portion of Interstate 95 in Center City Philadelphia will shut down next weekend for roadwork, PennDOT has announced.  The northbound lanes from Exit 20 (Columbus Boulevard) to Exit 22 (Interstate 676) will be closed and detoured from Saturday evening, Feb. 3 to Monday morning, Feb. 5, officials said.  "This closure comes as PennDOT begins partial demolition of the existing concrete covering over I-95 between Chestnut and Walnut streets under the $329 million project to replace and expand the covered area at Penn's Landing in Center City Philadelphia," said PennDOT in a statemen…
