A police officer was involved in a crash due to a deer in the road in Bucks County on Thursday, Nov. 14, according to police. The officer was driving on Galloway Road when a deer ran onto the roadway, causing a driver in another vehicle in front of the patrol car to stop abruptly, the Bensalem Police Department said in a news release. A 30-year-old motorcyclist was injured in a crash with a deer in Upper Macungie Township on Wednesday, Oct. 23, according to police. The motorcyclist, who is from Blandon, Berks County, struck a deer while driving on Route 222 North near its intersection with Grim Road at 6:38 a.m., the Upper Macungie Township Police Department said. Mantua Township police received a call at 5:40 a.m. about a deer stuck between the bars of a fence along Wenonah Avenue near McCarthy Avenue.
