A Florida man wanted in New Jersey, fleeing from Pennsylvania State Police in Jonestown has caused an "active police incident" on Interstate 81, Trooper Megan Frazer said on Thursday. Jimmy Lee Fancy, 35, of Daytona, FL was wanted on "warrants for firearm violations from New Jersey as well as other active warrants in Pennsylvania," Trooper Frazer stated in a release. Dad Dies In Dauphin County Prison
A dad awaiting his preliminary hearing on newly-filed charges died in Dauphin County prison Thursday, Jan. 18, according to court records officials. Michael Howard Butler II had been in and out of prisons in four counties since 2009, according to his criminal record. Tragically, for those who loved him, this time in prison was his last. A "medical emergency" was called in the A Block dayroom after Butler was "found unresponsive, lying on his back, in his bunk" at 9:38 p.m. on Wednesday. Officials are advising residents across southeastern and central Pennsylvania to take caution ahead of the snowstorm predicted for Friday, Jan. 19, according to National Weather Service meteorologists. Chester, Delaware, Philadelphia, and parts of lower Bucks and Montgomery counties are under a winter storm warning as of 5 p.m. Thursday. A 15-months and 14-days-old boy has been identified after being struck by a Norfolk Southen Train on Thursday. Landis Sensenig Newswanger was hit by a Norfolk Southern train running along the tracks in his backyard in the 400 block of West Main Street, South Newton Township, Cumberland County at 10:04 a.m. on Dec. 7, according to state police and later identified in his obituary. Christopher Beaver, 47, of Enola has a criminal record dating back 29 years and he is on the run again after his most recent conviction.
