Bucks County Man Faces Child Pornography Charges, Police Say A 27-year-old Warrington man was arrested on child pornography charges last week, according to township police.  Derrick A. Carthon is being held on a $250,000 bond, court records show.  Authorities received six cyber tips from X.com, formerly known as Twitter, related to accounts associated with Carthon, police said. They searched his home on July 23 and seized multiple electronic devices before taking him into custody, according to officials.  Carthon has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Aug 12.

Second Teen Charged With Chester High Schooler's Murder: Police A second suspect is in custody for the June 9 murder of Sabrie Pierce, according to Chester police.  Tyjohn Walker-Jones, 16, is being charged as an adult with first-degree murder and related offenses, said authorities in a release last Wednesday, July 17.  He's accused of shooting 17-year-old Pierce at the Wallingford Estates Apartments, 2701 Madison Street, according to investigators. Abdullah Muslim, 17, is also charged in connection with the deadly shooting.  Walker-Jones was arrested in Newark, Delaware on Tuesday, July 16, and is awaiting extradition to Penns…

Police Name Victim In Deadly Shooting At West Lawn Home (Updated) A 56-year-old West Lawn man is accused of killing someone in a neighboring apartment.  Angel Adames is charged with first- and third-degree homicide and related counts, said Spring police in a release.  The shooting happened around 7 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25, authorities explained. Car Thief, Fraudster Extradited To PA From NJ Jail, Cops Say An Easton woman is in the Northampton County jail for a car theft early this year, say Forks Township police.  Authorities said they were called about a stolen Hyundai Santa Fe at 5335 Kesslersville Road on Feb. 29. The victim, a New Jersey resident, also reported fraudulent transactions on a debit card that was left in the vehicle.  Police used surveillance footage from the businesses where the transactions occurred to identify Penny Bellomi as a suspect, authorities said.  A warrant for her arrest was issued in March on charges of theft, receiving stolen property, and…

Maryland Man Arrested For Killing Dog In Chesco: PA State Police A 21-year-old from Maryland is charged with aggravated cruelty to animals, Pennsylvania State Police say.  Troopers said Damien Thiel of Westminster fatally assaulted a family dog in West Nottingham Township on Saturday, June 8. It happened on the 100 block of Pleasant Drive, according to investigators.  He posted 10 percent of his $15,000 bail and has a preliminary hearing set for June 18, court records show.
