A Berks County woman faces criminal charges in connection with the overdose death of an Amity Township man late last year. Ashley Pupek, 34, of Birdsboro, is accused of drug delivery resulting in death and related counts, said District Attorney John T. Adams' Office in a statement on Tuesday, June 6. Prosecutors said the unnamed Amity man was pronounced dead in his Douglassville apartment in the early morning hours on Nov. 4, 2022. An 84-year-old woman is dead following a two-car crash in Bethlehem Township on Tuesday afternoon, police told Daily Voice. It happened just before 3:30 p.m. on Freemansburg Avenue near 13th Street, the department said. The victim and her 89-year-old husband were headed east in their Chevrolet when a westbound Subaru crossed lanes and collided with their car, authorities explained. A 32-year-old pregnant mom was murdered in her home in central Pennsylvania and police are searching for a man they've identified as their prime suspect. Tamarra Deloache, 32, of York, was found dead in her home in the first block of North State Street at midnight on Wednesday, May 18, according to the county coroner's office.
