A child was raped during a burglary, according to a police release on Thursday, Oct. 3.
Tyreek Collier, also known as Tyreek Jackson, 28, was arrested from the 6400 block of Charles Street on Wednesday, Oct. 2, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.
Collier is accused of sexually assaulting a child during a burglary in the 3000 block of Cottman Avenue at 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18, police said.

A third suspect in the mass shooting at a SEPTA bus stop has been arrested, authorities say.
Jermahd Carter, 19, was taken into custody by US Marshals and city police on Tuesday, March 12, officials said in a release. He was found in a family member's home on the 12000 block of Academy Road in Northeast Philadelphia, according to marshals.

Two suspects are in custody in connection with the mass shooting at a SEPTA bus stop in Philadelphia's Burlhome neighborhood last Wednesday, March 6, according to officials.
At a press conference Monday afternoon, March 11, city authorities identified them as Jamaal Tucker, 18, and Ahnile Buggs, 17.
Tucker surrendered to police on Friday, March 8 while they were serving search warrants, Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore told reporters.

A Philadelphia police officer has been released from the hospital after being grazed by a bullet to the head in Holmesburg on Sunday night, Dec. 10, according to authorities.
His suspected shooter, 40-year-old Dioul Devaughn, remains in critical condition as of Tuesday, Dec. 12, and is charged with multiple counts of attempted murder, aggravated assault, and related offenses, said Philadelphia police.
