Credit Card Skimmer Devices Placed At PA Walmarts Leads To 20-Year-Old's Arrest: Police
A multi-county credit card skimming operation led to the arrest of a 20-year-old man after devices were found at Walmarts in Carlisle and Camp Hill, police announced on Tuesday, March 11. Additional skimming devices have also been discovered at an ATM in Harrisburg, a Sheetz in York County, and a Royal Farms store in Delaware County. Marcus Sorin Covaci was identified as one of two suspects accused of installing skimmer devices on registers, according to Carlisle and Lower Allen Township police. Charged Child Rapist Kidnaps Girl Then Kills Himself During PA Police Pursuit
A man out on bail for felony child rape kidnapped a girl at gunpoint but when police closed in, he turned the gun on himself, the Pennsylvania State Police announced on Wednesday afternoon. Former convict, James Lee Kopp Jr., 53 of Hanover and East Berlin (although most recently from McSherrystown) kidnapped a 12-year-old girl at gunpoint from her yard in the 600 block of North Street in McSherrystown and fled the area, PSP detailed. Automotive Enthusiast Killed In DUI Crash, Pennsylvania State Police Say
A 36-year-old man has died at the scene of a crash on Route 341, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Tuesday. Jordan T. Mushinski of Grantville was pronounced dead in the 3500 block of Route 341/Colebrook Road in Conewago Township at 10:12 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 26, investigating Trooper Matthew Condrad detailed in the release on Feb. 27.
