Phoenixville Officer, Motorcyclist Killed In Warminster Leaving Funeral For Another Cop: Mayor
The Phoenixville Police Department is mourning the loss of one of its own. Arthur "Art" Scena IV was killed in a car crash in Warminster Township, his department said. Phoenixville Mayor Peter Urscheler tells Daily Voice that Scena was coming home from the funeral of another member who had just passed away due to cancer. A Montgomery County high school football game was suspended after a spectator showed up with a gun, officials said. Cheltenham Schools Superintendent Brian Scriven said the Friday, Aug. 25 game against Abington was postponed after an attendee showed up with a gun at the Abington stadium. Recent Cheltenham HS Grad Morgan F. Powell Dies Suddenly At 18
A Montgomery County high school community is mourning the loss of a recent graduate. Morgan Feona Powell, a 2021 graduate of Cheltenham High School, died suddenly in a car accident on Dec. 5, according to a GoFundMe page launched by a classmate. She was 18. Over $6,400 had been raised on the fundraiser as of Dec. 16.
