The current Coplay Borough Mayor Burker passed away over the weekend, the Lehigh County Coroner's Office announced in a release on Monday, Oct. 21. The Honorable Stephen J. Burker was pronounced dead from natural causes in his home on Saturday, Oct. 19, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio detailed in the release. First responders have come together to help a lifelong firefighter and father of two from Reading who is battling cancer.
