Evacuation Orders Issued After Propane Truck Overturns In Bucks County Doylestown residents within 2,000 feet of an overturned propane truck were urged to evacuate their homes Monday morning, Oct. 16.  The truck crashed along Ferry Road near Old Iron Hill Road sometime before 9:45 a.m., according to police.  About an hour later, authorities said the crash had "created a hazardous situation in the area" and everybody within 2,000 was ordered to clear the zone.  "Your safety is our top priority, and we appreciate your cooperation in this emergency," said Doylestown police. Fire Crews Tackle Chalfont Garage Blaze During Snowstorm Fire crews tackled a garage blaze in Chalfont Borough, Bucks County during Thursday's snowstorm, authorities said. The Chalfont Fire Company responded to the fire around 11:45 a.m. at 130 N. Main St, according to a Facebook post. Firefighters spent about two hours extinguishing the blaze. The Chalfont Fire Company was assisted by the Doylestown Fire Company, Warrington Township Emergency Services, the Midway Volunteer Fire Company, Hartsville Fire Company, the Fire Department of Montgomery Township, the Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company, and North Penn Goodwill Service.
