Bucks Man Swiped Tip Jar From Doylestown Business: Police
A Bucks County man faces several misdemeanor charges after police say he made off with the tip jar from an area business.
Authorities were called to EZ Laundry, 565 N. Main St. in Doylestown, early on Tuesday, March 21, for a report of theft, Central Bucks Regional police said in a statement.
There, staff showed them surveillance video of a man approaching the counter and removing the bills from the tip jar, investigators said. The man is then seen taking the whole jar, placing it under his jacket, and leaving, they continued.

Doylestown Sex Offender Busted With Child Porn: Authorities
A registered sex offender in Bucks County is now accused of possessing sexual abuse imagery, authorities say.
Edward Vincent Bacon, 29, was arrested after detectives executed a search warrant at his Doylestown home, Central Bucks Regional Police said in a statement.
Investigators had been tipped off by police in Chesterfield County, Virginia, that Bacon "was in possession of images containing child exploitation," CBRPD wrote. More items removed from his property are still under investigation, they added.

A former Bucks County music teacher pleaded no contest on Thursday, Oct. 13 to charges that he molested two of his students and secretly filmed another undressing, authorities say.
Joseph G. Ohrt, 57, a Buckingham resident and one-time choir director at Central Bucks West High School, stood accused of two counts of indecent assault, two counts of corrupting minors, two counts of invading privacy, and one count of evidence tampering, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.

Police: Philadelphia Man Who Stole Wallet From Restaurant Customer, Spent $1,500 Surrenders
A 48-year-old Philadelphia man who swiped a wallet from a woman's purse while she was eating at a restaurant surrendered to police, authorities said Monday.
Clifton Fleming turned himself in on Dec. 3, on an active warrant stemming from the Oct. 18 incident, Central Bucks Regional police said.
Fleming took the wallet containing $250 in cash and credit cards while the woman was dining at Pag's Pub in Doylestown, authorities said.
Fleming used the woman's credit cards to make more than $1,500 in purchases, police said.
