Philly Woman Killed In Wrong-Way Crash Was Nursing Student, Philanthropist: Family Thaduba Magdalena Turay of Philadelphia died when she was struck head-on by an allegedly DUI driver on Sunday, April 14, according to state police. She was 21.  Turay was born in Freetown, Sierra Leone, and moved to the United States with her family when she was 1 year old, loved ones wrote on GoFundMe. She attended Cardinal O'Hara High School in Springfield and went on to study nursing at Cheyney University of Pennsylvania.
