Police Phones Down In Caernarvon Township
The Caernarvon police and township phone lines are out of service, officials said Monday, July 22. For non-emergency service, residents can call 610-655-4911 and ask to speak with an officer on duty, Caernarvon police said. To reach the township, email mbishop@caernarvon.org. Officials hope to fix the phones by Monday afternoon, they added.

Deadly Crash In Caernarvon Township Shuts Down Road: Officials
At least one person has died in an accident on Morgantown Road Thursday morning, June 6, say Caernarvon police. Drivers should avoid Morgantown Road/Route 10 from Elverson Road to Ranck Road, authorities said in a release. The road will be closed "for an extended time period," they added.

Suspects Sought In String Of 'Organized' Berks Co. Walmart Thefts: Police
Police in Berks county are searching for multiple suspects in connection with a string of highly-organized thefts from the Caernarvon Walmart, authorities say. The first incident took place on July 7, police said, when four people walked into the 100 Crossings Blvd. store and stole two shopping carts filled with merchandise. Surveillance footage captured two women filling the carts before meeting a man in a white Dodge pickup truck in the parking lot.
