Arson: Woman Burns Down Shed, Vehicle 'Risking Catasrophe' In Sellersville, Police Say
A Sellersville woman is accused of igniting a fire that destroyed a shed, scorched a vehicle, and spread to brush, “risking catastrophe,” authorities said.
Alizandria Alverio, 42, was arrested on January 2, 2025, after investigators tied her to a blaze on Maple Avenue in Sellersville Borough, Perkasie Borough Police announced on January 10.
The fire broke out on December 23, 2024, engulfing an unoccupied vehicle, a shed, and surrounding brush, according to police. Firefighters from the Sellersville Fire Department were able to extinguish the flames before they reached nearby homes.

A Warminster woman retrieved a revolver from a safe, concealed it in her jacket, and shot her boyfriend as he fled their home during a heated argument, police announced on Friday, Dec. 27.
Savanna Summer Munoz, 19, was arrested on Christmas Eve following the shooting at her residence on Evans Street in Warminster Township, authorities said.
Police responded to the home after being alerted by Doylestown police of a gunshot victim in the hospital at approximately 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 24. The victim told investigators that Munoz had shot him in the leg during a domestic dispute.

Rebecca Ann Watson, 46, was arrested after police responded to Rosewood Court Apartments at 345 E County Line Road, Warminster Township, for a reported stabbing around 11:01 a.m., authorities said.

A Bucks County man is accused of having sexual intercourse with a teen, Plumstead Township police announced on Tuesday, Nov. 26.
Fernando Santos Tzij-Noriega, 24, also known as Santos Tzub Alfaro, was charged with felonies for Statutory Sexual Assault and Corruption of Minors following an investigation that began on Monday, Nov. 18, police said.
The allegations stem from a report of a 24-year-old man engaging in sexual acts with a juvenile female in Pipersville, according to the release.

Authorities have announced an arrest made in an overdose death nearly two years later in Bucks County.
Following an "extremely lengthy" investigation with Springfield police and Bucks County detectives, William Wright, 38, was arrested on Tuesday, June 18, Springfield police said.

A Perkasie man is in custody after police said he broke into a neighbor's home with a hammer, damaged property, and threatened to harm the owner.
Officers arrested James Berner on April 11 and he was charged with burglary, assault, criminal trespassing, possessing instruments of crime, recklessly endangering another person, terroristic threats, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and harassment, according to Perkasie Borough Police Department.

Police: Philadelphia Man Who Stole Wallet From Restaurant Customer, Spent $1,500 Surrenders
A 48-year-old Philadelphia man who swiped a wallet from a woman's purse while she was eating at a restaurant surrendered to police, authorities said Monday.
Clifton Fleming turned himself in on Dec. 3, on an active warrant stemming from the Oct. 18 incident, Central Bucks Regional police said.
Fleming took the wallet containing $250 in cash and credit cards while the woman was dining at Pag's Pub in Doylestown, authorities said.
Fleming used the woman's credit cards to make more than $1,500 in purchases, police said.
