: Lansdale Motorcyclist Killed In Bucks County, Police Say
A 68-year-old motorcyclist from Montgomery County was killed Monday, Sept. 9 in Bucks County, authorities said. Tinicum Township police were dispatched to Geigel Hill and Cafferty roads at about 4:30 p.m. to investigate a motorcycle crash. The unidentified driver from Lansdale died of his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, police said. A pedestrian was hospitalized with multiple injuries after a crash in Bucks County, authorities said. Perkasie Borough Police are investigating the crash that occurred at about 7:15 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5 at Callowhill Road and Dorchester Lane. A 38-year-old man from Bucks County pleaded guilty to trafficking counterfeit opioid pills. Robert Davis, 36, of Bensalem, pleaded guilty on Aug. 28, according to U.S. Attorney Jacqueline C. Romero. The pills were meant to be used as props in films but were instead used by drug dealers billed as oxycodone or Xanax, Romero said. A 36-year-old driver from Montgomery County was killed in a crash in Bucks County, authorities said. Robert Strohm, of Harleysville, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Wednesday, Aug. 28 at about 6:30 p.m., according to Hilltown police.
