Homeowner Scares Off Men Moments Before Grand Theft Auto, Colonial Regional Police Say
Two men were moments away from stealing a vehicle when a Lehigh Valley homeowner caught them in the act and scared them off, police say. Officers responded to the attempted theft report on the 1800 block of Mark Twain Circle in Bethlehem around 2 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, Colonial Regional Police said. Upon arrival, officers were told that the homeowner confronted two men attempting to steal a vehicle when they ran away. The men were described only as wearing dark clothing but were allegedly seen rummaging through several other unlocked vehicles in the area since the incident, police said. …

Repeat Tire Thief Busted At Berks Car Dealership, Police Say
A Berks County man isn't exactly having a Goodyear. Theodore J. Puc Jr., 41, was in the middle of removing tires from an Audi at the Audi/Volkswagen car dealership in Leesport on Aug. 22 when officers spotted him, according to the Bern Township Police Department. While questioning Puc, of Shillington, officers discovered he had recently been fired for stealing tires, police said. During a search of his car, officers discovered more stolen tires, they said. ? Northampton Police Seek ID For Pair Who Tried To Steal $5K In Home Depot Items, Fled
Police in Northampton County are seeking the public’s help identifying the men they say tried to steal $5,000 worth of merchandise from Home Depot. The men pictured above filled up a trash can with “high-value electrical items” at Home Depot on Nazareth Pike in Bethlehem around 3 p.m. on March 31, township police said on Facebook. The men then left the store and drove away when confronted by the loss prevention team, leaving the items behind, police said.
