Record-Breaking New Ride Under Construction At Hersheypark A record-breaking new ride is under construction at Hersheypark, the company announced on Tuesday, Aug. 27.  The Twizzlers Twisted Gravity is set to open at Hersheypark in the summer of 2025.  The ride with supposedly be the "tallest Screamin’ Swing in world," according to the press release.  The one-minute and 10-second ride will "ascend 137 adrenaline-pumping feet, defy gravity at speeds reaching 68 miles per hour and experience multiple mind-bending zero G moments as they swing high above Spring Creek in The Hollow region of Hersheypark," the park said. South Jersey Amusement Parks Offer Bonuses, Higher Pay To Attract Summer Workers The COVID-19 pandemic, and the resulting labor shortage is prompting amusement parks in South Jersey to offer higher pay to new workers.  On Monday, Sahara Sam’s Water Park in Camden County announced that it plans to hire up to 100 lifeguards, bartenders, cashiers, cooks, and park employees.
