A Philadelphia man who was convicted of raping a child for eight years was indicted for concealing that crime to obtain U.S citizenship, federal authorities said. Approximately 14 months after he was granted U.S citizenship, Sumo Dukulah, 47, was arrested for raping a child, beginning when she was eight years old in 2004 and continuing until March 2013 when she was 16 years old, according to Acting United States Attorney Jennifer Arbittier Williams. A former Philadelphia middle school teacher was sentenced to 15 years in prison following the discovery of sexually explicit text conversations with his 12-year-old student in 2019, federal authorities said. A Philadelphia man was arrested after he robbed and kidnapped postal workers with a replica handgun as they were delivering parcels in West Philadelphia, authorities announced.
