A shopper in Delaware County walked out of the grocery store six figures richer on Monday, Oct. 9. The lucky Pennsylvania Lottery player matched all six winning numbers to earn the $650,000 jackpot prize for the Match 6 Lotto, according to state officials. A Delaware County shopper stopped by a grocery store this week and left with $3 million, say Pennsylvania Lottery officials. The lucky winner earned the top prize from a $3 Million Fun Fortune Scratch-Off, a $30 game, according to state gaming reps. NJ Supermarket, Veterinary Office Robber Armed With Butcher Knife Gets 13 Years: Prosecutor
A South Jersey robber who armed himself with a butcher knife has been sentenced to 13 years in a New Jersey state prison, authorities said. The 49-year-old man was convicted at trial of robbing a Maple Shade veterinary office with the knife and later entering an Acme Market -- unarmed -- and grabbing nearly $500 from a cash register, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina.
