Family Displaced By Fire In Bucks County

A family was displaced by a house fire that broke out Friday night in Bucks County.

The fire broke out on the 600 block of Skunk Hollow Road in Chalfont at 10:39 p.m., bringing companies some several surrounding towns to the scene.

Flames were ravaging the home as firefighters arrived. 

A tanker task force was requested as there were no hydrants in the area, according to the Hilltown Township Volunteer Fire Department.

The fire was place under control in 2 hours, firefighters worked for the next several hours to extinguish hot spots. T

he fire is under investigation by the Bucks County Fire Marshal’s office.
