Off-duty PA State Police Liquor Enforcement Officer, Benjamin J. Brallier, age 44, of Kennedy Township, formerly of Moon Township, was found stabbed while running near near the 1900 block of Hassam Road on Montour Trail on Monday, Oct. 21 at 2:52 p.m., as Daily Voice previously reported. A 43-year-old man has died days after a crash with a utility pole in the Poconos, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office.
Rowland Matthews, of Dreher Township, Wayne County, struck a utility pole on Route 191 about one mile south of Pocono Plateau Road in Cresco, Monroe County, the coroner's office said.
The crash happened at 3:44 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8, according to the coroner's office.
