The man was walking across the creek at Devil’s Pool when he fell in around 6:05 p.m., Philadelphia police said.
His body was recovered approximately one hour later and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the Friends of Wissahickon website, Devil's Pool is a natural basin that's 15 feet deep and 25 feet wide.
