Bucks Man, 72, Stabbed To Death In Home: Authorities

Police in Newtown Township are investigating after a 72-year-old victim was found stabbed to death in his home last Saturday, Oct. 7.

Richard MacFarland died of "multiple stab and slash wounds," said the Bucks County Coroner's Office.

“His manner of death is determined to be homicide and this case remains under investigation by Newtown Township Police Department and the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office," said Coroner Meredith Buck.
