Hit-Run Hospitalizes Woman In Manheim Township, Police Say A 75-year-old woman is in the hospital after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene, Manheim Township Police announced on Monday morning, Oct. 21. The woman was found lying on the side of the road in the 100 Block River Drive in Lancaster Township at 9:08 a.m.  She was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.  "A witness heard the impact and then saw a dark-colored sedan flee southbound," the police wrote in the release. Hit-Run Badly Injures Bicyclist In Palmer Township: Police A driver fled the scene of an accident that left a bicyclist with serious injuries, said Palmer police. The victim was struck on South Greenwood Avenue below Charlotte Avenue around 10 p.m. on Tuesday night, July 16, according to authorities. No vehicle description was given.  Anyone who witnessed the crash or any neighbors who might have captured it on video are asked to call Officer J.
