A man was fatally shot by police after a lengthy standoff involving armed suspects in Bensalem, the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office announced early Saturday, Jan. 25. The incident began around 3:50 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 24, when Bensalem Police stopped a vehicle near Route 1 and Old Lincoln Highway for a traffic violation. According to police, the driver refused to comply, claimed to be armed, and stated he would not return to jail. Fugitive Barricaded In Frederick Motel Airlifted To Hospital After Officer-Involved Shooting
A man wanted for sexually abusing a child in Pennsylvania was airlifted to an area hospital following an officer-involved shooting at a Frederick County motel on Friday morning. Shortly before midnight on Aug. 1, deputies from the Frederick County Police Department and Sheriff's Office were called to the Super 8 motel on Monocacy Boulevard, where they were tipped off about a fugitive wanted out of Beaver County who was believed to be in the area.
