A skimmer at Sheetz that Redditors warned people about three months ago was removed on Thursday, Sept. 12, police announced. The skimmer was found on the PNC ATM at the Sheetz located at 1205 Lancaster Road in Manheim, police explained. A fire that destroyed a historic bandshell at Elmwood Park in Norristown last week was intentionally set, authorities said. The Norristown Fire Department has confirmed the fire at the Fire Chief’s Memorial Bandshell was arson, the municipality said in a statement on Thursday, Sept. 5. A 35-year-old woman from Hazleton has been charged with child endangerment after locking her child out of the house while high, authorities said. On Saturday, Aug 25, at approximately 3 a.m., officers with the Hazleton City Police Department were dispatched to West Elm Street and Poplar Street for a report of a child locked out of their home. Community Mourns Passing Of Police Sgt. In Upper Southampton
The Upper Southampton community is mourning the passing of retired Sgt. Jeffrey Delp on Wednesday, Aug. 14. He was 68 years old. He was formerly from Langhorne. After honorably serving his country as an Army MP, Sergeant, Delp joined the Upper Southampton Township Police Department in June 1979 as a patrol officer. In January 1987, Delp was promoted to the rank of Sergeant, a position he held until his retirement in June 2011 after 32 years of service. : Man 'Showing Signs Of Dementia' Disappears In Lebanon, Police Say
A 70-year-old man who has been "showing signs of dementia" is missing from his Lebanon City home, police announced on Thursday, Aug. 8. Andrew Bellavia was last since on Aug. 7. He is described as a white man who is approximately 5'5", weighing 160 lbs, with gray hair and glasses. He was last seen wearing a green jersey. He frequents the area of the 900 block of Mifflin St. and 12th and Cumberland St., according to the police. A police officer fatally shot two dogs after they attacked a woman in West Philadelphia on Wednesday morning, June 5, officials say. According to PPD, a 57-year-old man was calling for help when a stray dog attacked his pet on his porch on the 1500 block of North 57th Street.
