An active police investigation is underway at a Philadelphia school following reports of a firearm on campus Wednesday morning, Nov. 27, authorities said. Officers responded to Bartram High School on the 6700 block of Elmwood Avenue at 10:03 a.m. after receiving a report of a male student with a firearm. The building was placed on lockdown, police said. Two male individuals believed to have brought the weapon onto the premises were detained, but the firearm has not yet been recovered, officials said. Carbon County Resident Threatened To Shoot Borough Employees: Police
A Nesquehoning man was arrested after allegedly threatening to bring a gun to the borough offices on Wednesday, June 26, authorities say. Steven Figueroa, 29, is charged with terroristic threats, according to Nesquehoning police. Officials said Figueroa called borough employees around 10:30 a.m. to complain about municipal water and sewer services. Workers told police he was "agitated, argumentative" and profane during the call. Borough employees then received a call from the management company at Figueroa's home.
