Fire Crews Fight 3-Alarm Blaze In Lehigh County Apartment Complex: Authorities Multiple fire departments responded to a three-alarm blaze at a Lehigh County apartment complex Friday, Oct. 25, according to authorities. The Whitehall Township Fire Department responded to the call to the Independence Square Apartments, located at 1 Maryland Circle, at 2:50 a.m., an operator at the Lehigh County 911 Call Center confirmed to Daily Voice. Crews Battle Blaze In Allentown First responders were called to an apartment building in Allentown for a three-alarm fire on Monday evening, July 8.  The blaze broke out on the 1100 block of Hamilton Street around 5:30 p.m., said firefighters. Crews were still on the scene as late as 10:30 p.m., according to city fire officials.  Photos from the scene showed heavy smoke and visible flames from a row building block containing apartments and businesses on the ground floor.  Emergency crews are currently operating in the 1100blk of Hamilton Street.
