The fire broke out on Route 30 Westbound as it splits into Route 283 Westbound in Manheim Township around 9 a.m., according to Lancaster County Wide Communications. Fire crews swiftly responded and were able to extinguish the flames, officials said. No injuries were reported, dispatch confirmed. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Gutierrez, 29, was identified as the suspect in the Sunday night murder of Torres, 25, who was found with gunshot wounds on Nectarine Street around 8:30 p.m., police said. PA State Police Car Catches Fire On Route 80 A PSP vehicle caught fire on a Luzerne County highway late Monday, July 15, according to officials.  The blaze happened on Route 80 near mile marker 272.1, said White Haven Fire Company. Troopers brought the flames under control by the time firefighters arrived, and a hose was used to soak down the engine compartment, authorities said.  No one was injured, the fire company added.  Daily Voice has reached out to PSP for details on what caused the fire.

York County Man, 55, Dies In Vehicle Fire: Police Authorities are investigating a deadly vehicle fire in Manchester Township.  Northern York Regional police were called to the 2400 block of Pin Oak Drive around 11:50 p.m. Thursday, May 23. They arrived to find a white 1994 GMC Safari minivan fully engulfed in flames.  York Area United Fire and Rescue extinguished the fire and 55-year-old Thomas Rooney was found dead in the van, police said.
