PA Teen Basketball Player, Top SAT Scorer Noah Scurry Fatally Shot A Philadelphia teenager and standout student-athlete was fatally shot outside his home on Rorer Street in the city’s 25th District, police announced on Tuesday, Jan. 14. Officers arrived at the 5000 block of Rorer Street at 7:15 a.m. after reports of an armed male, authorities said. There, they found 17-year-old Noah Scurry suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to police. Scurry was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center by Philadelphia Fire Department medics, where he was pronounced dead at 7:37 a.m., police said. 'Armed And Dangerous' Killer Wanted In Philadelphia: Police The accused gunman in a fatal Philadelphia shooting is "armed and dangerous," city police warned in a release on Thursday, July 18.  Leiber Manrique, 53, is wanted for the July 15 killing of Omar Gaitan of the 700 block of Knorr Street, authorities said in a release.  Gaitan was sitting in his Honda CRV when he was shot in the face on the 500 block of West Ruscomb Street, according to investigators.
