Rt 11 Reopens After Fatal Tanker Truck Crash: PennDOT
A coroner was called to the scene of a crash on Route 11 on Wednesday morning, according to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler. The crash is believed to have been between a tanker truck and a passenger vehicle, Schreffler explained. It happened between Schoolhouse and Cove roads at around 11:30 a.m. on July 10. It is unclear "which vehicle had the fatality," Schreffler said. The area affected by the closure was between Maryville and Duncannon. Woman Falls To Death From Bridge Above US Rt 30: Lancaster Coroner
A woman sitting on a bridge over US Route 30 fell to her death and authorities have been unable to identify her, according to multiple releases coming out from Lancaster County on Tuesday morning. The unnamed woman was seen by a witness sitting on the side wall of the New Holland Pike Bridge over US Rt 30 at 5:30 a.m. on July 2, according to a release by the Manheim Township police. Dump Truck Crashes Into Amish Family's Bird-In-Hand Home
An Amish family's home was struck by a dump truck on Thursday morning, according to Lancaster County Wide Communications. The truck's cab's front right tire appears to have blown out based on photos shared by Daniel Stoltzfus who also witnessed the crash. He wrote the following in part in a social media post: "I heard something and looked up. The truck went between the tree and the house." A 30-year-old mom woman is dead following a multiple-vehicle crash involving entrapment that closed all lanes of US Route 30 East in part of Lancaster County, authorities announced on Tuesday, June 4. A motorcyclist died from his injuries after crashing on Interstate 93 in Newberry Township on Wednesday afternoon, May 22, authorities say. Dauphin County Man Killed In York Motorcycle Crash: Troopers
Authorities have named the 21-year-old motorcyclist killed in a Fairview Township crash on Sunday, May 19. Issaiha Seiders was headed north in the left lane of Interstate 83 when he merged right into the center lane, state police said in a release. As he began to pass a Ford Fusion in the left lane, the Ford merged right, striking Seiders' motorcycle and knocking onto the right shoulder, according to troopers. Bicyclist Hurt In Lancaster County Hit-Run: Officials
East Lampeter police are searching for the driver who hit a bicyclist and fled the scene on May 8. Authorities said an early 2000s model Dodge pickup truck or SUV hit the victim on the 100 block of East Main Street around 6 p.m. The crash knocked off the Dodge's passenger side mirror which was recovered from the scene, according to police. The bicyclist was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Anyone with information is asked to contact the East Lampeter Police Department on Crimewatch.

A multi-vehicle accident shut down an on-ramp to Interstate 81 in Franklin County on Friday morning, May 17, according to PennDOT. Officials said it happened on the PA 696 ramp to I-81's southbound lanes near Exit 24 in Southampton Township. The ramp was still closed as of 9:30 a.m. It's not yet clear if anyone was hurt.
